"Refused to help"

I got injured at work, can't work as usual, called my GP - ECMC for an appointment, four weeks waiting. Went to get a USG, private, reports says 'significant damage'. I am in pain, I can't work. Appointment day came. Went to my GP, handed in the report. The reaction - Oh, you went private! Go back to them, we will not compete with them! That was end of the appointment. My GP refused to help me because I had a radiologist report with me already. I am in pain, significant damage in my arm, I can't work - they say go away! National Health Service? Health Service?? Disgrace!
