"They go out of their way and everything feels so personal"

The team at Oban are fantastic, this was my second pregnancy and they have been so supportive both times. They go out of their way to get to know you and everything feels so personal. The whole team knows who you are when you walk in even if you always see the same midwife. 

Throughout my most recent pregnancy I had Kirsty as my midwife, she made everything so clear and was always very straight talking which suited me. She really got to know me and listened to my wants and supported me navigate my birth plan after a previous traumatic birth. Elaine the senior midwife went out of her way to see me and discuss the best options to having a vaginal birth after previous section and if an Oban birth could be an option for me.

Unfortunately due to complications I couldn't have either baby in Oban but I would have no hesitation in staying if I could have and certainly tried both times.

Coming home after the birth it is so comforting know the team are there and will do everything to support you and your family. The level of care is outstanding, just wish you had them for longer, especially in regards to feeding.
