Due to being unable to contact the IBD helpline, I had to see GP who kindly saw me short notice and said needed to go to A&E. Turned up on Friday afternoon to LRI A&E... looked like a war zone. I'm immune suppressed, I don't not go inside with lots of people, especially those who are coughing with no masks, bleeding all over the place. Was asked to go back Saturday morning but I am a carer for someone with special needs and my cover isn't available at weekends.
A worrying weekend followed with unexplained bruising, upper and lower gastro pain, palpitations, dizziness and having to take strong pain relief just to be able to drink and eat anything. Oh and I have a gastroenterologist who doesn't listen to me. Completely exhausted and unwell.
