"Very helpful staff nurse"

I called ward 30 at Ninewells hospital today. My son spent time in the paediatric unit on Monday and I was told he would need surgery as an outpatient. We are due to go on holiday next week and I was worried that the surgery date would clash with this and I would need to cancel the holiday at short notice which would upset the kids.

I spoke with Staff Nurse Imogen who could not have been more helpful. She listened to my concerns, took my details and reassured me she would find out what she could and call me back. Imogen called back within 10 mins and provided all the information I requested and offered me reassurance. I was very impressed with her professionalism and caring nature. She really put me at ease and I felt reassured by our conversation.

I just wanted to come here to say Well Done Imogen! Keep being you! You were so helpful and you are an absolute credit to your profession!
