"Made me feel taken advantage of"

About: Community Services (Adult Physical Health) / Wheelchair and specialist seating

(as a service user),

I wanted new wheelchair because mine is old, had 9 years, it’s filthy & tatty looking.

Staff member from Wheelchair Services due @ 10am…eventually arrived at  12:30 - after two phone calls into their office.

I may have had another appointment - didn’t but they weren’t to know that!

It made me feel taken of advantage of & a little less important than before.  Clearly they do not have enough engineers in service 🙄👎🏻

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, I am very sorry to hear you feel taken advantage of as this is not our intention.

Wheelchair Services are not able to provide specific times for van round repairs and unfortunately the SMS was sent in error. I have discussed this with the relevant staff to prevent re-occurrence and to improve processes and practices

Regarding the condition of your wheelchair, I can see a referral has been opened for a review and you are on a waiting list. You will be contacted in due course.
