"Anaesthetic review"

I recently had an anaesthetic discussion with Dr Ritchie by phone consultation regarding my upcoming surgery.

I had lots of fears, concerns and questions regarding my anaesthetic options. Dr Ritchie listened to my concerns and provided honest, balanced, evidence-based information. He made a clinical recommendation against my preferred anaesthetic for the procedure, but at no point did he make me feel coerced or that my worries were unfounded.

I felt like he took the time to guide me through a complex discussion that will help me make informed decisions about my future care. The discussion likely lasted longer than he anticipated, however he was patient and understanding, didn't rush me, and took the time to understand what matters to me. I am extremely grateful for his care and consideration.
