"Thank you to the hospital and heart care team"

In July 2025 my wife had a heart attack and collapsed. The ambulance crew were quick on scene, gave first class medical attention and she was rushed to Hairmyres hospital.

Within 2 hours of the attack she had a stent fitted. After a few days with splendid hospital treatment she was transferred to Wishaw General hospital. Again she received first class treatment and was discharged one week later.

The heart team then took over her care at home and it was impressive the help and care they gave her to recover. The heart team went out of their way to assist her to achieve her goal to again be independent and it was impressive what they achieved.

I would like to thank all staff, ambulance crew, surgeons, nurses, occupational therapists, and the heart team for their dedication and achievement with the early recovery of my wife. Thank you.
