Unbelievable, women centred care received from Laura the Peebles midwife for my postnatal care. She wasn’t my named midwife but from the moment she came into my home on day 2, to the minute she discharged me I felt so comfortable, supported and looked after.
She has such a beautiful and caring way with both myself and little boy. I appreciated the continuity she provided, and didn’t realise at the time how important this was to me. She kept me well informed and I truly felt listened to and heard. I appreciate the time and care Laura provided to my family during such an emotional and adjusting period in our lives. She is an absolute credit to the borders maternity team and I truly hope her seniors recognise this.
Laura - thank you again for everything you have done for us, never change. The women in Peebles and surrounding areas are lucky to have you.
