"Contraceptive removal and given options"

About: Sexual Health Services - Telford and Wrekin (Open Clinic)

(as the patient),

I had two lady’s who was both lovely! both of them made me feel safe and heard. I had been told multiple times by different doctors my implant had moved unusually deep into my arm so i was terrified of having it removed. She felt my arm and was truthful about the fact it had moved and would probably be a bit more difficult to remove. She suggested that she could refer me for a second opinion and made me feel safe and comfortable about my decision to wait for a different appointment and gave me her personal work number to book back in if i felt i was okay with giving her a chance of removing it herself.
