"So kind and caring"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Plaster Room

(as a parent/guardian),

My Son was in to get his cast removed and a new one reapplied. Staff, especially Amanda made him feel at ease and reassured him it would not be sore.

She was professional and did a great job as well as being so kind and caring towards my boy and I really appreciate it!

Dear Love36

Thank you so much for your lovely message. I’m really pleased to hear that your son’s visit went smoothly and that Amanda was able to make him feel at ease during what can be a daunting experience for a young person.

Amanda is a valued member of our team, and it’s heart warming to hear how her kindness and professionalism made such a positive impact on both you and your son. I’ll make sure she sees your kind words, they’ll mean a great deal to her.

We always strive to provide care that’s not only clinically excellent but also compassionate and reassuring, especially for our younger patients and their families. It’s wonderful to know that this was reflected in your experience.

Wishing your son all the best with his recovery, and thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. It really brightens our day.

Warmest regards,
Mhairi Stirrat
