"CT Scan appointment"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neuro-radiology Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Xrays and Scans

(as the patient),

I recently attended the Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for a CT scan at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, CT Scanning Department. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and handled in a timely manner.

Receptionist Anne was absolutely fantastic—she couldn’t have been more helpful. It was clear she provided the same high level of care and support to all patients she assisted throughout the day. She gave clear, informative directions and made sure I was exactly where I needed to be.

Radiographer Lisa was equally excellent. As this was my first CT scan, she took the time to explain the procedure and helped me feel completely at ease. Her friendly and professional approach made a real difference.

Dear velamm88

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, CT Scanning Department, at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. We are delighted to hear that your visit was smooth, efficient, and handled with care.

It’s wonderful to know that Anne provided such helpful and welcoming support at reception, and that Lisa’s clear explanations and friendly professionalism helped you feel at ease during your first CT scan. We know how important it is for patients to feel informed and comfortable, and it’s clear both Anne and Lisa went above and beyond to achieve this.

Your feedback will be shared with Anne, Lisa, and their teams — they will be pleased to know their efforts made such a positive difference.

Thank you again for taking the time to recognise their excellent work.

Dear velamm88,

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback, it’s very much appreciated. I am glad you were put at ease, particularly as this was your 1st CT scan which can be very daunting.

I’ve passed your message on to Anne and Lisa last week, and they were both very grateful to receive it. It’s always encouraging to hear such positive reflections, and it means a lot to the team to hear the difference they can make to a patients experience.

Thank you for taking the time to post this care opinion and recognise our team.

Best wishes,

Michael
