We have recently had an appointment at the Urology Dept. at Ottery St. Mary hospital and it was necessary to be in the waiting room for over 3 hours.
There were no chairs suitable for people with arthritis who need an above average height chair. 3 hours is a long time to stand for someone with rheumatoid arthritis and becomes very painful.
The staff were very kind but could not locate a suitable chair such as is available at the RD&E.
