"The standard of care has always been very high"

I recently had my RSV vaccination at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline. It was a positive experience and everything went smoothly.

There was no queue and I was seen as soon as I arrived at the Vaccination Centre. I was checked in after I showed the admin. nurse my invitation letter. I was immediately pointed to the vaccination nurse. She went through my meds. list, medical history, allergies, etc.

When she was satisfied, the nurse went through the side effects of the vaccine, giving me leaflets to take home. She then administered the vaccine in the selected arm. I felt a slight sensation as the needle went in. Job done. The usual advice about driving was given.

I have now had many visits to the Centre for flu and Covid vaccinations. The standard of care has always been very high and re-assuring.

I have had no side effects.
