"My Mum’s care in hospital"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Palliative Care Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Renal Medicine Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Spiritual Care Service

(as a relative),

My Mum was admitted into the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh late one evening, and she ultimately died there a week and a half later.

The care and compassion that she received whilst there was faultless and we will never forget it.

My Dad was with my Mum the whole time and the staff, despite being so busy and putting patients first, took time to look out for him and check that he was ok.

We can’t thank the Royal Infirmary enough, particularly all the staff in ward 206, the palliative care nurses and the chaplaincy. You made an intolerable situation tolerable.
