"Had coil removed"

My GP service no longer removes the coil, so had to attend the open clinic.

The nurse I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The procedure went smoothly. She even apologised as I had some bleeding, my reply was that is to be expected. My coil had been in for the licensed 10 years or just over.

I would highly recommend the open clinic, I had a telephone review on the day that I first phoned, and was booked in within a few days. All the staff including the receptionist were friendly and helpful.
