"Appreciate the care and attention from all staff"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gastroenterology (Stomach and gut problems) Wards 8b, 8c &8d

(as the patient),

I recently spent three weeks on ward 8d @ QEUH. I was fortunate to be very well cared for and have to say that the staff were all polite, genuine and did their utmost to help. They were faced with a few difficult situations due to me having medical device inserted that they were not trained to use, but this was dealt with in the best way they could. Appreciate the care and attention from all staff.

Dear augustrr69

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of attending Ward 8D of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. We are pleased to hear that you felt well cared for and that our staff were polite, genuine, and attentive throughout your three-week stay.

We appreciate your understanding regarding the challenges around your medical device, and we are glad the team were able to manage the situation in a way that met your needs.

Your kind words will be shared with everyone on the ward who will be encouraged to know their efforts were valued.

We wish you the very best for your ongoing recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
