"She was professional and kind"

Attended a clinic in Ayrshire for a really personal matter, I have never attended a clinic like this before, to say I was nervous was an understatement. The nurse who looked after me, Leanne, was very kind and gentile, she didn't rush me, gave me time to discuss my concerns, I didn't feel judged or rushed to be out the door. 

I was really surprised how easy the whole appointment was, no one looked at me or judged me, and it just felt like I was in any clinic, and not a sexual health clinic.

The nurse was a breath of fresh air, any woman struggling for whatever the reason would feel safe with Leanne, she was professional and kind, and really reassured me that what I had to say was important and relevant. 

For anyone worrying like I was, please don't, book an appointment and go, you will be listened to and looked after.
