In early June 2025 my wife had been feeling tired all day, she got worse as the day went on. At about 1730 I called 111. The lady who answered was 1st class. However during the questions my wife stopped breathing.
The lady was still calm and collected. She also had the ambulance service to my home within 20 minutes. The medics who turned up were great and tried for over 30 minutes to revive my wife but could not revive her and pronounced her dead.
Although this was not the outcome we all wanted, I just want to pass on my thanks to the 111 service and the medics for all their help and empathy they showed me.
"Thank you to the 111 service and the paramedics"
