My mum recently had keyhole surgery to her colon here at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow.
The day before her admission, she received a call from Suzanne in ward 9a, basically giving her a rundown of what would happen and what time to aim for arriving at the hospital. This completely put my mum at ease as she was more prepared for what was coming.
Then on the day of admission again everyone was truly amazing. Emma, who completed her admission form, was just brilliant. There has been lots of wonderful nurses and her surgeon, Mr Vallia, was truly amazing.
I am just sad that we seem to have a negative opinion on our NHS. For us it was second to none. Thank you to all for looking after my mum with such great care. Please keep up the amazing work you all do.
