He tripped but the X-rays showed no broken bones but he couldn’t weight bear on his right leg. The next morning the GP referred him to UCR. Luke came to see him in the afternoon and assessed what he needed to keep him
In his own home. Everything arrived that evening and the next day he was able to go home with the support of his carers. Susan came to check everything was okay and to adjust walker for his height. Luke also contacted Social Services to ask for more support hours.
My son is 40 and throughout the years I have had to fight for him to live as independently as possible. I was so touched by the support and care shown by Luke and Susan. You have no idea how much it has meant to me. We are both so grateful. This is an amazing service.
