I recently had surgery and attended the Day Procedure Unit in the Ulster Hospital. From admission, I was greeted by friendly and caring staff who listened and were so attentive. They really put me at ease. My admission nurse, Laura, was absolutely fantastic and I am forever thankful for how at ease she made me feel when I was so anxious. The manager, Jolene, runs a great unit and should be proud of her excellent team.
The Theatre team were all amazing and I felt I was in such good and safe hands. I am especially thankful for Eimear, Chinwe and Meghan who went above and beyond for me.
My recovery nurse, Emma, was exceptional. She managed my pain and treated me with dignity and compassion.
I am so glad that I was cared for by such an amazing service and team. I am truly thankful to everyone who was a part of my journey and who made a daunting experience so easy and comfortable.
