"Above what you expect at Oban maternity unit"

Once we found out I was expecting we made our appointment and felt so at ease when meeting the girls at Oban maternity unit.

Myself and dad are quite laid back people but were even more relaxed and looked forward to our appointments with how well we got on with the girls in the unit. We opted for planned section which made us go to Paisley but wished we could have been in Oban. The care the girls give is above what you expect.

I do have to give a special thanks to our midwife Alison as we hit it off from the get go and she was just great to deal with and such a laugh at our appointments.

Thank you to the following staff we dealt with at some point during pregnancy: Kirsty, Becky, Eva, Sara, Elayne and Leah.

Only negative thing I would say is we only get 10 days with midwife after baby is born. You get to know your midwife through your whole pregnancy only to have 10 days at the end.
