My teenage son had a day theatre procedure. From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing; reassuring, kind and attentive. Special thanks to the nurse training with Surrey University in white uniform - I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name - and nurse Hugo after the procedure. My son was so well looked after and he kept saying how kind and reassuring everyone was.
He has been in Hascombe ward twice before, in 2023 and early on this year, and whilst all was fine then, the care this time was just outstanding. Also the level of cleanliness seemed much improved (we saw the cleaner - also friendly and smiling, twice cleaning around us), and the ward looked clean and fresh. The food was great and I really appreciated being able to have food as a parent this time, it will make life much easier especially for parents of younger children.
We just wanted to say thank you for making it a stress-free, easy experience and for the professionalism and kindness shown at every level.
