Feeling let down.

After the earlier oversight of being asked to attend an appointment in Boston (I live in Lincoln) to discuss test results for a test which hadn’t yet been carried out, I thought things must get better from here.

I was waiting for my 9am phone call from Boston Vascular for my pre-op consultation. No call.

Around 11:30am I called them to be told my procedure had been cancelled back in May. I asked why had I not been informed? No satisfactory answer was forthcoming.

Let’s see if my new pre-assessment happens in September for my re-arranged November procedure.

I apologise for the experience you have had with our Vascular service and that this has understandably, left you feeling let down. Please may you contact PALS, providing your NHS number, so that a member of the team can investigate this thoroughly and follow it up for you?
