My husband passed in Ward 44 at the beginning of July. I am feeling stronger now to write this.

Me and my daughter were with my husband every day up to 2 weeks before he died and the care and attention he received by all the wonderful nurses in ward 44 and auxiliary staff was amazing, so dedicated in the work you do. My heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you. Thank you for all your support Alana, Saskia, Jen who were with us when my husband took his final breath. Also Margaret you are a star. Too many staff to mention but heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you.

I would like to thank Dr Jafferbhoy, Dr Gilchrist and Carly on the Ward 44 team for all the care given to my husband over the past 3 years. My husband passed in Ward 44 room 2 with his family by his side.

We had a collection at my husband's funeral and this will be handed in when my son in law comes to put a coffee machine in for you.

Thank you so much for your kind words for the team in ward 44. I will be sure to share this with them all.

It was a privilege to be able to care for your Husband over the past 3 years and particularly in his final days. I am pleased to hear that you felt your Husband was well cared for.

Thank you also for collecting money in your Husbands memory and your generosity to donate this to ward 44, this is very much appreciated by the whole team.

I hope that you are finding moments of peace as you grieve and fond memories bring you comfort, my sincere condolences to you and your family.
