"Escape Pain Programme"

Living with arthritic hip pain has affected every part of my life and often get down in dealing with the pain, lack of sleep and lack of mobility.

When I was referred to the Escape Pain Programme, I was offered attending a group program at Blantyre Life or an Online version of the program and tempted to 'tick the box' by viewing the Online course, but decided in the end to commit to the group meetings at Blantyre Life, and now so very grateful I did.

This program has had such a positive impact on my outlook to coping with pain but felt the fun filled friendly, approachable attitude of Fiona had the greatest impact.

Meeting others coping with pain and sharing tips and tricks has proved invaluable, as has the input from Fiona on correcting my positioning and posture while carrying out the exercises in an environment filled with laughter and humour.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of this program and would encourage others to choose attending this program rather than the online option - it offers so much more than managing pain.
