"Cancelled appointment"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute) / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

The Northampton general hospital sent me a letter on 5 of June for an appointment in July and then on 12 of June I received another letter saying that they needed to cancel my appointment and they will be in touch via phone to book it, it’s now August and nothing! I have a serious condition on my eye and I am losing my sight every single day and nothing is being done!

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience.

I am very sorry to read that you have not heard back about your appointment. I am also conscious that you must be very worried about the health of your eye whilst waiting to hear from the Ophthalmology Department.

As the feedback you left will be anonymous on Care Opinion, please can you email the Patient Experience Team at NGH with your details and information regarding your appointment and our team will do our very best to help.

Kind regards

Sara Francis
