"Birth story"

About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73)

(as a service user),

I gave birth to my 2nd child in PRM Glasgow. The care I received from getting through the doors was remarkable. The midwife (Christie) who helped deliver my son, nothing was a bother to her. She was extremely reassuring, non-judgemental and offered many words of support.

On the ward the midwives were fantastic. Again, nothing was a bother and I could overhear how friendly they were to other new mums within the ward who were having difficulties, even through the night.

Everyone down to the clerical staff were super friendly, to the point I actually missed the hospital when I came home. I will never forget the fantastic care I received, I appreciate it so so much.

Dear Browneyedgirl12

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on you experience from your stay in the Princess Royal Maternity.

I was so glad to read that you felt your care was remarkable and that you found all staff to be friendly.

I will ensure your appreciation is passed on to Christie and all the staff in the PRM.

All the best to you and your family.

Thank you

Carol Fergusson
