About: Antrim Area Hospital / Accidents & Emergency

(as a service user),

8 hours and still not seen by a doctor after suffering severe vomiting and diarheoa for a week. Have been given an anti sickness injection while waiting and still vomiting, them given an anti sickness and wafer and still vomiting, still not consider important enough to be seen after this amount of time.

Dear Sick patient

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your ED experience

I am sorry you have experienced a long waiting time to be seen. Patient are seen in order of priority and at times those patients of lesser acuity experience long delay.

I am glad to hear that nursing staff did try to manage your symptoms while you waited
