My husband and I are foster carers to teenage boys. Our teenage foster son is now able to move back, with all our support, to live with his mum, and we will always be in his life, when he wants, after loving and nurturing him for six years. So, yesterday we had our last annual meeting with the School Nurse, Sinead. As always I am so impressed with this often unknown but totally essential service. Sinead as always established a superb relationship with our foster son and myself. She went through all areas of health -emotional, social, nutritional, as well as physical. She offered excellent advice to both of us, which he was willing to follow up on because of her credibility and skill at connecting with him where he was at this important transition in his life.
"Superb relationship and excellent advice"
