"Compassionate, kind, patient and knowledgeable"

I just wanted to share my incredible experience with the Ninewells hospital midwifery team across the labour suite and postnatal care teams. A special thank you to Megan and Erin who helped me through a really challenging labour and then cared for me and my newborn son after an emergency caesarean section. They were compassionate, kind, patient and so knowledgeable.

I would also like to thank Gemma and Kat, who cared for me and my son to ensure we were safe and comfortable. All of the staff were available and caring and we couldn’t have asked for better care.

The surgical team provided reassurance and a calming energy when I really needed it. Dr Natalia stood out especially for me and chatted through everything when I was really panicking and feeling unwell. I can’t thank her enough for being by my side during the procedure so my partner could focus on our son.  

I would also like to thank Lorna in the postnatal ward for her support and care following childbirth. She went over and above and we really appreciated her help.
