The staff are fantastic at dealing with complex long term conditions - the new system doesn’t always make it easy but the actual staff go out of their way to ensure that all tests, appointments or just updates about appointments at the hospital are done properly.
Dr Saboor has even used her own time to follow up on referrals to consultants, gets advice from relevant people or does research into new medication or treatments to help me live a more comfortable life.
They make accommodations for me and the difficulties I have, rearrange appointments so that my carer can take me and ensure that they wear PPE as I am immunocompromised.
I must admit that I’ve sworn at the new web based system for getting appointments, but I have contacted the receptionists if I have a problem and they have helped me with it.
It might be unusual to say these days, but I’m really lucky to have Dr Saboor as my GP and the staff at Wootton to support me.
