About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Cardiology (Heart Conditions) Wards 6c & 6d

(as the patient),

I attended clinic F QEUH 7 weeks ago for a 3-day EGC monitor. Everything was explained how to wear monitor and how to return etc. only thing is it has been 7 weeks now and unsure of how long a wait for results as my referring GP has not received anything back? I have also tried to contact clinic via email but no success.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback Holly21. I have reached out to the service and they have explained that due to current pressures on the service, test results can take up to 8 weeks at present.

Thanks for reply. Results are not back yet. I can appreciate it’s a busy department so hopefully soon.
