I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to Lesley, the mental health nurse who supported me recently. From the very beginning, Lesley made me feel listened to, respected, and never judged. Her calm, compassionate manner gave me a sense of safety that I hadn't felt in a long time.

She took the time to truly understand what I was going through and offered support that was both practical and reassuring. I never felt rushed or dismissed — she treated me as a whole person, not just a patient. That meant everything during such a difficult time.

Thanks to Lesley’s professionalism and kindness, I felt empowered to take positive steps forward. Scotland is lucky to have someone like her working in mental health services. I’ll never forget the difference she made to me.
