"I have a lot to thank everyone"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

I was told I needed an operation on my back and started thinking would I come out of the anaesthetic. Talking to inclusion over 6 weeks and the advice and teaching me these thoughts are just in my head. There is nothing to harm you and you can get over this by thinking positively. It does work as I went through a bad experience. I have a lot to thank everyone at inclusion.

Dear woodpeckerht56,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us at Inclusion Thurrock Talking Therapies.

Facing the prospect of surgery can understandably bring about a great deal of fear and worry, and it’s inspiring to hear how you were able to challenge those thoughts and approach the situation with a more positive mindset.

We’re so pleased that your sessions over the six weeks provided you with practical strategies and reassurance to help you manage your anxiety. It’s wonderful to know that this support made a real difference for you during such a stressful time.

Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We hope your experience inspires others to seek the support they deserve.

Best wishes,

Taffy
