"Out ofHours GP ?"

I had to ring 111 for a problem that couldn't wait. I was given an appointment at Worcester very quickly. My concern is that I wasn't seen by a GP but a "practitioner" ( does that mean nurse ?) Also I cannot understand why my medical notes cannot be accessed since I have complicated medical history and allergies. I wasn't reassured I had received best advice or treatment and was told to see my own GP as they didn't have my notes . I don't feel this is a proper treatment service - just a make do and mend !
