"She answered my questions and put my mind at ease"

About: General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde

(as the patient),

I would like to thank my doctor for her patience and for answering my questions regarding blood readings etc. this morning.

Recently I have found some of the staff abrupt and its super difficult to get an appointment. We are sign posted everyday if we are worried about health to discuss with your doctor. Despite asking for a call back to discuss my bloods in May I did not get it and was told everything was ok by reception, however on getting a repeat set of bloods done I physically went to reception and stated I wished to speak with a doctor this time to discuss.

The doctor was excellent and I was on the call for 20 mins during which time she answered my questions and put my mind at ease. I hope this message gets to her.

Dear Blood63

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch via Care Opinion.

We are sorry to hear about your difficulties in getting an appointment and the communication around your blood results. However, we are pleased to hear that your consultation with the doctor was helpful and reassuring, and we will ensure your kind words are passed on to them.

Many thanks

Nicole
