I would like to highlight the excellent post natal care that I have received from my health visitor Fiona from the Rutherglen and Cambuslang health visiting team.

Following quite a difficult birth, and some challenges with my mental health, the care and support that Fiona has given me has been outstanding. She was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, and as a first time mum this really allowed me to thrive as a first time mum.

I was always treated with respect and my wishes were always taken into consideration. At no point have I felt judgement for the choices I have made, and anytime I had questions or difficulty, Fiona offered support.

I was nervous about my post natal care and I needn’t have been as I could not have asked for a better health visitor to attend to both myself and son.
