"Excellent teamwork and very reassuring for a new patient"

About: Gynaecology / Gynaecology Outpatients

(as the patient),

I've recently moved house and my Health Board Area has changed. I was a bit apprehensive about a new hospital/op clinic/GP having been with my previous for 40years.

I needn't have given it a second thought.

My new GP is excellent.

She sent all my medical info to the Hospital and today I met with consultant Mr Vinci and breast care nurse Jill.

He checked they had the correct medical history documented, check how I was feeling and told me what was planned for the future.

Jill gave me a contact number and said if I had any worries or problems to call.

Excellent team work and very reassuring for a 'new' patient.    Well done NHS👏

Dear Jean70,

Thank you for getting in touch to share how your transition to NHS Tayside has gone. I'm glad all the pieces have fitted together well and that you were reassured by the breast team. I will be happy to pass this on to the staff.

Best wishes,
