"Follow up after knee replacement surgery"

About: East Ayrshire Community Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as the patient),

I waited almost a year before I got an appointment with them about my knee surgery, felt confident after the clinic, got a phone call from the doctors office saying that the prescription was now at the chemist so waited a fortnight went along to pick it up, they couldn’t fill the prescription so I let the doctors surgery know that the pharmacy couldn’t get the prescription, and also let the pain clinic know that the prescription was difficult to source, both the doctors and asked me what I had done to source the medication, I told them that I was trying to purchase it from Italy and the USA  neither of them could import the medication into the UK any more. This I told to doctors and pain clinic. After a week was contacted by and pharmacy nurse at Ayr hospital  who told me that she could get me it so I trusted her so now it been a fortnight and since the last communication , so I guess that’s that

The problem is now what do I do , contact the pain clinic again , who also promised a physio  appointment or the doctors surgery the last time I tried to make a appointment I was told to ring back after six weeks so that not an option, get in contact with the pharmacy nurse in Ayr hospital who has gone silent. It looks like to me that all these people don’t really care to them it just one person who has had a very bad experience with them.
