"An absolutely fantastic team"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Acute Medical Initial Assessment Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cardiothoracic (Heart and Lung) Ward Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Respiratory Medicine (Breathing and Lung Problems)

(as the patient),

I recently spent 4 weeks in ARI. First of all I was admitted to 101 where the team acted extremely fast in getting me to resus and getting me stable, I am extremely grateful to them.

I then moved onto ward 107 for 13 days, the team were absolutely fantastic, it's a busy ward and staff really are spread thin but come together and work as a team. I absolutely can't thank each and everyone of you enough for everything you did for me.

I then moved on to ward 216 for 2 weeks and again a busy ward that pulls together as a team well run by Annie who absolutely has everything covered and is a fantastic leader. The Hcsw's were all amazing and so comforting 💕 I really appreciate all of you.

Through my entire journey through the hospital I have to say the most heartfelt thank you to Ornella the phlebotomist, she became my absolute rock, she held my hand as she took my bloods but also provided so much comfort as I cried on her shoulder through my tough journey. Everyday she helped me more than she will ever realise. Thank you  all.
