"Excellent care and kept me calm"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Ambulance Control Centre Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as the patient),

Having called 999 recently, my call was taken by Mairead in the Inverness call centre. She had a nice calming voice when I explained I had severe chest pain and shortness of breath. I didn't have to wait long and first to arrive was RPU Paramedic Craig from Springburn station. Again he kept me calm during the observations. Not long after, Paramedic Megan and Technician Christine, both from Leverndale, arrived. Having told them all about my extreme agoraphobia, they understood and made it easier for me to be taken out my home. They were superb. I was later brought home by PTS crew John and Martin from Glasgow West station. They have brought me home a few times. 2 genuinely lovely guys.

I'd like to thank everyone of the above for the excellent care I received
