Dad fell at home, cut his head. He has quite alot of co-morbidities so is quite at risk and was under NGH care for 14 days, spread across 4 areas, initially A&E, then Walter Tull, Abington, Rowan and eventually Hawthorn. Turns out he was becoming unwell at home, foot infection taking its toll, hence the fall. He received IV antibiotics, many reviews, blood testing etc., scans and importantly received fantastic care. Respect was shown to my Dad, care, thoughtfulness, humour (much appreciated by him). Communication to the family regarding updates was excellent.
