"They truly supported my decisions"

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

Delivered my first baby in the borders and although the birth didn’t go as planned, the support and guidance from Kirstie midwife on Labour Ward and Dr Rosie were unmatched. They truly supported my decisions and acted with the upmost care.

The postnatal care in ward 16 was also incredible. MCA Ali was so supportive and knowledgable along with midwives Amy and Nicky who provided my postnatal care. I felt supported and well cared for.

Overall an amazing experience at the BGH

Thank you Newxd34 for taking the time to feed back to us.

I am so sorry your birth didn't go to plan for you but lovely to hear that Kirstie & Rosie were so supportive to you throughout.

I will share your lovely feedback with the team, including Ali, Amy & Nicky for your postnatal care - they will be delighted!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, this is very important to us.

I hope you are settling in to life with a new baby at home and managing some sleep!

Kind Regards

Claire
