"Specialist Pharmacist"

I had been suffering multiple perimenopause symptoms for 4 years, and had been disheartened by friends' stories of having their symptoms dismissed or being told by their GPs that they were too young to have treatment. I was worried about the same happening to me, so it took me a long time to reach out for medical advice. I was very lucky that my GP surgery employs a specialist pharmacist who deals with HRT provision. Karen was kind and helpful, she listened to what I said, and it was clear that she was very up-to-date with the evidence base. She talked me through my options clearly, and supported me through starting HRT - which has made a huge positive difference already to my symptoms and my quality of life. This is a wonderful service, and huge thanks to Karen!
