"The best care and attention in Stracathro Hospital"

Going to Stracathro Hospital for foot surgery I knew from other friends that the place is not a 'looker!' But once inside from check-in to the Glen Isla section, to all the health checks and help throughout the day, with several nurses and specialist services later ... I wish I remembered all the names but, of course, I forgot ... my experience was that this is a secret NHS well oiled machine. I have had a few surgeries in other hospitals and Stracathro by far seems to have it right - how you would ever hope your visit was going to be. Mr McMurrich makes sure you know everything about your surgery, as did Dr Watson, the anaesthetist, who was wonderful at explaining the various options for anaesthesia- I thank her for listening to me.
