"The care and compassion was second to none"

I had phoned for a doctor home visit and urgent care team attended within 1.5 hours of me calling.

Steven was the advanced nurse practitioner and he could not have done anymore for us. I had called for my mum but I couldn't be there so when he arrived he called me (my dad was there) to go over everything before he'd even assessed my mum.

She has dementia and inability to walk suddenly so after assessment he wanted her admitted. Arranged the ambulance and when I arrived went over all my questions. He is an absolute credit to the service.

He asked and managed our expectations and gave us the best advice moving forward.  He relieved alot of stress and anxiety for my dad over next steps etc. The urgent care team is definitely an invaluable service. She was picked up via ambulance around an hour later.

She has now been hospitalised and hopefully on the road to some answers. The care and compassion was second to none.
