My mum was given an appointment on the Wednesday for an eye exam in EODU. On the Friday she was back for a procedure on the same eye.
All staff from reception, nurses, doctors, porters, cleaners and whoever else worked on the unit and then the ward were amazing.
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The 1st appointment I helped my mum in with her rollator. The 1st 3 members of staff we met told me I could have got a porter to help me. I only thought porters were for those staying I hospital. They called me one when we were finished and he was great. The nurses and Doctors she saw were so friendly and helpful.
The 2nd appointment was for the procedure. Again the nurse was pleasant and helpful. We had a wee chat to the cleaner and the anaesthetist was another lovely woman too.
After the op they gave my mum dinner, so many helpful staff asking if I or my mum needed anything.
Such an amazing team.
