"Refusal to repeat prescribe medicine to a new patient"

About: Houghton Medical Group,

(as the patient),

Registered with the medical group and got an appointment to discuss my repeat prescriptions. The gp refused to issue the medication which I had on repeat prescription from my previous surgery. When I asked what pain relief can you provide, the gp said none because you can get it cheaply over the counter. I explained that I am an armed forces veteran and need to manage pain from injuries sustained in my military career. I said I am diagnosed with CPTSD and anxiety which they have triggered because they are refusing to treat me. They said they are not refusing to treat me.  They just don't as a practice prescribe medicines you can buy cheaper over the counter.
