Rang and explained i was going on holiday and I didn't have enough of my medication for the whole 2 weeks i'm away. Receptionist told me to do it on the app. I explained it's controlled medications that's not due yet so it won't let me do that. Completely unhelpful. Told me to ring "tomorrow".
Called the day after as told to do. Yet again another receptionist playing god with my health and medication. Tells me she can issue it but it may not be done today. I try to explain this is now the last working day before I go away and i need 4 days medication of controlled meds. I also tried to explain i'd previously tried getting this with no luck. She didn't seem to be listening and just kept butting in whilst i was still trying to explain the circumstances.
I absolutely hate this surgery lately the service has been horrendous. Too many rude and unhelpful staff trying to do more than a receptionist role.
I need that medication. Maybe this is why there is never any appointments, because now i'm going to have to ring at 12 for an appointment to get the meds I need and will be wasting an appointment that someone that's really ill could use.
I'm already vulnerable, suffering with mental health amongst a whole lot of other ailments without having to go on holiday without enough medication for my broken back!
